the proteins for this gene were characterised by alignment to the Immunoglobulin V-set domain orthology group in DIOPT's EggNogg tool, with high confidence scores.We have used the 'vsig' root from the human gene names, with 'like' and a serial number following Xenopus nomenclature rules.
