nomenclature updates

This genepage was renamed from an existing designation of slc22a8 on October 1, 2018.

This change was made due to a synteny analysis of the slc22a6 / slc22a8 locus.

A new genepage for slc22a8 is the proper syntenic slc22a8. This gene is a novel duplication most closely related (by sequence analysis) to Xenopus slc22a8. It's best human orthologue is therefore slc22a8, but has no true syntenic human orthologue, hence the "Like" designation.

Users should take care about the orthologue links as the ability to change those on this page were malfunctioning on the date of the change and may or may not have been updated to reflect the changes, and entrez records may need to be changed as well.
