gene symbol and gene name changed from mr1, major histocompatibility complex, class I-related to mhc1b-uba7.3 major histocompatibility complex, class 1b, UB alpha chain, subfamily 7, member 3
THe previous name (mr1) is a mamalian MHC gene name, but we do not know of any support for this orthology relationshp.
The Xenopus MHC genEs are currently under review by Xenbase, the immunbiology community and the HGNC. THis gene name is therefore provisonal.
