Graphene oxide (GO) has extraordinary optical, chemical and electronic properties, and has applications for many areas including environmental remediation, biology, medicine, and agriculture. For example, GO has been used in the prevention of important agricultural pests by form lating nanomaterial-based pesticides (Wang et al., 2019a). GO could improve the bioactivity of β-cyfluthrin, monosultap and imidacloprid via inducing physical damage to the cement layer of insects, and the delivery system of GO also increases the efficacy of these pesticides (Wang et al., 2019b). Graphene oxide (GO) readily suspends in water and polar organic solvents.
