Human symbol has changed for genepage ID: 484294 From sox17a to SOX17


Human name has changed for Entrez Gene: 64321. From SRY (sex determining region Y)-box 17 to SRY-box 17
Entrez gene ID report continually reports a change from sox17a to sox17 in Humans.- keep this Xenopus genes as sox17a- do not change it or be confused. In Xenopus it is sox17a, due to the gene being duplicated. Xenopus has sox17a, sox17b.1 and sox17b.2
