02.04.2018 Human symbol has changed for genepage ID: 5779569 From adap1l to ADAP1

10.16.2018 human orthology is still set to ADAP1. However, an existing syntenic adap1 is present in Xenopus and found at http://www.xenbase.org/gene/showgene.do?method=display&geneId=5947996.

This symbol has been changed to adap1l as it is a novel orthologue for Xenopus. While naming improvements may yet be possible, this genepage should absolutely not be changed back to adap1.-KAB
