11.11.2019 This gene was given the 'like' designation to reflect preliminary analysis by Xenbase during Xenopus v9/10 genome annotation, in that it may not be a true ortholog of the human MTSS2 gene.
It should not be changed without detailed analysis and feedback from NCBI.
Synteny of this gene matches a conserved block of genes in Xenopus and Human, so Xenopus name has been updated to follow human gene name as detailed below.
