they were both changed to a 'like' gene given that their synteny is terrible and the true orthologue cannot be established on 7/15/2019 by KAB. They should only be changed back after detailed analysis, not because they are both still linked to human gprc5c | |||

7/15/2019 two genepages were named gprc5c found here gprc5cl1 and here gprc5cl2.
they were both changed to a 'like' gene given that their synteny is terrible and the true orthologue cannot be established on 7/15/2019 by KAB. They should only be changed back after detailed analysis, not because they are both still linked to human gprc5c
