nomenclature updates
7/15/2019
two Xenopus genes were named gprc5c in the latest Xenopus geneomes- found here gprc5cl1 and here gprc5cl2.
They were both changed to a "like" given that their synteny is terrible and the true orthologue to human cannot be easily established on 7/15/2019 by KAB.
Warning: They should only be changed back after detailed analysis, not because they are both still linked to human GPRC5C.

07/27/2022 Synteny doesn’t support the human GPRC5C as orthologs of gprc5cl1 and gprc5cl2 , the 'like' genes, so all GPRC5C orthologs have been removed from gene pages (CJZ)
