12/20/2016 Human name has changed for Entrez Gene: 622. From 3-hydroxybutyrate dehydrogenase, type 1 to 3-hydroxybutyrate dehydrogenase 1

05/20/2020 Xenopus name has changed for Entrez Gene: 622 from 3-hydroxybutyrate dehydrogenase 1 to 3-hydroxybutyrate dehydrogenase, type 1 A.

Note 1) a second bdh1 gene has been identified and is called bdh1b, '3-hydroxybutyrate dehydrogenase, type 1 B'. A new gene page will be created for bdh1b.

Note 2) Entrez gene ID: 108717449 is the X. laevis bdh1a.S homeolog, and will be added to the gene page shortly.

Note 3) These genes have no human orthologs, being restricted to non-mamlaian vertebrates.
