09/01/2015 Human name has changed for Entrez Gene: 56623. From inositol polyphosphate-5-phosphatase, 72 kDa to inositol polyphosphate-5-phosphatase E
11.11.2019 This gene was given the 'like' designation to reflect preliminary analysis by Xenbase during Xenopus v9/10 genome annotation, in that it is not a true ortholog of the human INPP5E gene.
