The Xenopus transglutaminase 3 (tgm3) genes show 8x tandem duplication and synteny to human TGM3 is difficult to establish.
This gene page (XB-GENEPAGE-22168651) was renamed from tgm3.2 to tgm3l.8, with the 'like' designation, and gene number to reflect preliminary analysis by Xenbase during Xenopus v9/10 genome annotation.
