After orthology analsyis by NCBI, these ''Xenopus'' genes have been renamed, changing from ''mgam, maltase-glucoamylase'' to ''si, sucrase-isomaltase''.  Synteny supports this change.
 
It is unclear wheter ''Xenopus'' have a true MGAM ortholog(s).

Human name has changed for Entrez Gene: 8972. From maltase-glucoamylase (alpha-glucosidase) to maltase-glucoamylas.

After orthology analsyis by NCBI, these Xenopus genes have been renamed, changing from mgam, maltase-glucoamylase to si, sucrase-isomaltase. Synteny supports this change.

It is unclear wheter Xenopus have a true MGAM ortholog(s).
