The v10 genome annotation recognises 3 tandem acrbpl genes in X. tropicalis on Chr7 in this order:
XtropChr7: slc16a9< LOC101735301|acrbp-like> acrbpl> LOC116412453|acrbp-like ccdc6< actrt2< ank3<
We have assigned the gene symbols acrbpl.2 and acrbpl.3 to the genes flanking acrbpl
(Note: acrbpl is in fact better called acrbpl.1 for 'gene 1' but to keep things simple and avoid compuational glitches from the .1 suffix, we will leave 'acrbpl ' as it is. )
