NB: it is not dtx3, and not dtx3L gene. The true ortholog of human DTX3 is Xenopus Gene ID: 2217250, on Chromosome 2, based on conserved gene order/synteny] THe true ortholog of human DTX3L is Xenopus gene ID:100496352, which is annotated on Scaffold 734 in Xtrop v9.1, Changed the name back to dtex3-like, deltex E3 ubiquitin ligase 3-like. we are keep in gthe -like becaus ethere is another human gene called DTX3L, and this might avoid the confusion
