two genepages were named gprc5c found here [http://www.xenbase.org/gene/showgene.do?method=display&geneId=990338 gprc5cl1] and here [http://www.xenbase.org/gene/showgene.do?method=display&geneId=923222 gprc5cl2]. they were both changed to a like given that their synteny is terrible and the true orthologue cannot be established on 7/15/2019 by KAB. They should only be changed back after detailed analysis, not because they are both still linked to human gprc5c

nomenclature updates

7/15/2019

two Xenopus genes were named gprc5c in the latest Xenopus geneomes- found here gprc5cl1 and here gprc5cl2.

They were both changed to a "like" given that their synteny is terrible and the true orthologue to human cannot be easily established on 7/15/2019 by KAB.

Warning: They should only be changed back after detailed analysis, not because they are both still linked to human GPRC5C.
