X. laevis L homeolog v10 model was missing from the genepage. The pseudogene previously called LOC108718572 was confirmed to be the ortholog of taf4b in X. laevis L by synteny and sequence matching and added to the taf4b genepage, XB-GENEPAGE-995002. Genomic sequence was downloaded, exons as marked in NCBI Genbank by Gnomon were mapped to the genomic sequence, and isolated to identify a hypothetical CDS, which was then translated using EMBL EMBOSS Transeq into a hypothetical protein sequence. This was aligned to the X.tropicalis and X.laevis S genes (taf4b and taf4b.S) and confirmed to closely match. |
