I applied the gene symbol larg4l to the characterized genes called large neutral amino acids transporter small subunit 4-like by NCBIs. This is probably a bit too cheeky and preemptive/presumptive, as these genes all still carry LOC#s in other taxa, but hey, we r trying to give meaning symbols to as many genes as possible. -CJZ
