Note that this 414aa protein (XP_004917742.2 ) is only seen in the v10 assembly of ''X. tropicalis''- no syntenic model is apparent in the v10 ''X. laevis'' assembly.

LOC101733183, uncharacterized to naif1l, nuclear apoptosis inducing factor 1 like, following assessment of the protein in EggNog5.0, which matched the domain(s) of this previous uncharacterized pc gene to 105 NAIF1 proteins in 103 species, with relatively high confidence, thus it may possibly have a "regulation of mitochondrial membrane permeability involved in apoptotic process" GO MF.

Note that this 414aa protein (XP_004917742.2 ) is only seen in the v10 assembly of X. tropicalis- no syntenic model is apparent in the v10 X. laevis assembly.
