nomenclature changes

13OCT2025

Xenopus gene names was updated, changing from LOC100496633 andXB5913776 to atpsckmtb, ATP synthase c subunit lysine N-methyltransferase b.

Not that these gene are found on Chromosome 1/1l and do not share a conserved gene order/synteny with the human, mouse and chick ATPSCKMT genes. Protein sequence confirms these genes are paralogous, non-tandem duplicates of the atpsckmt genes found on chr6/6S.
