Finasteride

Finasteride, aka know as FIN, is an enzymatic inhibitor/antagonist of 5α-reductase and inhibits the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone [especially in the male external genitalia.] Finasteride is a drug derived from steroid semisynthesis.
