Xenopus gene name for XB-GENEPAGE-1013836 changed from inppl1, inositol polyphosphate phosphatase-like 1 to inppl1a, inositol polyphosphate phosphatase-like 1a
this follows examination of INPPL1 genes in vertebrates.
Most vertebrates groups have two INPPL1 genes but mammals have lost one of them (INPPL1B).
we will creat a new genepage on Xenbase for inppl1b to include Xtr GeneID: 100496685 and Xla.L GeneID: 108698315 . There is no inppl1b.S gene.
