this gene was renamed from xfo1-1, zinc finger protein to znf251l, Zinc finger family member 251 like following a alignmant of the protein to vertebrate orthology groups using EBI/DIOPTs EggNogg tool.

This match was made with moderate-high confidence, but as there are only turtles and mammals in the orthology cluster, I have called it 'like', and further anaylsis may be needed.
