Following recommendation from NCBI RefSeq (RSCOM-449) and Zfin, this gene changed its gene symbol and gene name from il12bl, interleukin 12B-like to il12b2, interleukin 12B 2

comment: The synteny pattern and gene loss for IL12B-like is fairly clear in tetrapods but harder to follow in teleosts. The spotted gar GeneID:102699198, XP_015215443.1 suggests the orthologous Zebrafish gene is si:dkey-88e18.2. The new gene name and symbol can also be applied to chicken GeneID:101747944 (CGNC:67435) XP_025006217.3 and Xenopus GeneID:100493914 XP_031750962.1
