Based on sequence alignment, BLAST and synteny analysis, cplane2l.S ( on X. laevis chrome7S) is believed to be the true ortholog of for CPLANE2, so the gene model will be moved to this gene page and renamed cplane2.S, removing the '-like' suffix.
