kif14l

Renamed to kif14l from kif14 on 8/12/2019 by KAB. This gene is not syntenic but is similar to kif14 and therefore can be linked to kif14 orthologues in other species including human. However, there exists a syntenic Xenopus kif14 and therefore this gene should not be renamed back to kif14 except under thorough scrutiny by manual curation.

The X. laevis S homeolog of this gene was identified as NCBI:108700522, XB-model:XBXL10_1g37812 (previously LOC108700522) and was added to the XB-GENEPAGE-5889658. LOC108700522 was added as a gene synonym.
