11.30.2020. This gene 's name was corrected following notification of the issue by NCBIs refseq coordinator (RSCOM-106), requesting removal human loci number from the Xenbase gene name and gene symbol.

Name X. laevis gene changed from: RING finger protein 112-like gene 108703963 to RING finger protein 112-like gene

Symbol changed from "rnf112l108703963" to "rnf112l".

Following Xenbase review of the rnf112 duplications on chr9/9_10L/S, synteny, assesment of proteins via multi-sequence alignment and NJ phylogram, these genes were renamed rnf112.4 , RING finger protein 112 gene 4.

The X. tropicalis gene was moved from XB-GENEPAGE-29091318 to this page, and renamed, changing from LOC108648894, RING finger protein 112-like to rnf112.4 , RING finger protein 112 gene 4.

Similarly, the X. laevis S homeolog was identified as GeneID:108702352 and added to this page, taking the symbol rnf112.4.S .
