Xenopus Gene Name and symbol was changed from from LOC116412047, ovostatin homolog 2-like to a2ml1f.2, alpha-2-macroglobulin like 1f gene 2 following phylogenetic analysis of the vertebrate ovostatin and A2M protein/gene family by Xenbase and the HGNC.
