In our effort to provide informative gene names and symbols, Xenopus gene symbol/name was updated from LOC100493429, erythrocyte band 7 integral membrane protein-like to stoml4, stomatin like 4.

Note that the human gene names for this group were 'Erythrocyte band 7 integral membrane protein (Stomatin) (Protein 7.2b)', and are now 'Stomatin', and we already have stomatin like 1-3, so this is teh next in that numerical series.
