7/22/2019 this gene model of a nonclassical MHC class Ib gene was named snc13.2 following data published in XB-ART-42392 (Goyos and Robert 2010)

Note that the 2002 sequence submitted with NCBI [Reference Sequence: NM_001247995.1 ] is called major histocompatibility complex nonclassical class Ib-2 (mhc1b2), transcript variant 1, mRNA.

Xenbase has represented a second distinct gene model at mhc1b2 (Chr8:134101867..134116517 (- strand)) on a different gene page: XB-GENEPAGE-484710, which is surrounded by numerous uncharacterized LOC# models
