'Xenopus'' gene name changed from ''XB5935727'' to ''cyp2f1l.2'' following a assessment of synteny for this region of chr5/5L/5S, which contains are cluster of 30 cytochrome p450 genes, and BLAST of this X.trop protein to X.laevis proteome/genome. BLAST gives very high similarity to ''cyp2f1.S'', thus this gene representsa 2nd, 'cyp2f1-like' gene. Further analysis will be necessary to decide whether these gene pages should be merged. | |||

'Xenopus gene name changed from XB5935727 to cyp2f1l.2 following a assessment of synteny for this region of chr5/5L/5S, which contains are cluster of 30 cytochrome p450 genes, and BLAST of this X.trop protein to X.laevis proteome/genome. BLAST gives very high similarity to cyp2f1.S, thus this gene representsa 2nd, 'cyp2f1-like' gene. Further analysis will be necessary to decide whether these gene pages should be merged.
