Nomenclature

This gene symbol was changed from foxi4 to foxi3 due to evidence from synteny (this is a synteny view from a neighboring gene) and DIOPT analysis from the Alliance of genome resources. The name was similarly updated to 'forkhead box I3, gene 1'.
