Xenopus gene name and symbol was updated, changing from LOC100495473, fatty acid-binding protein, brain to fabp5, fatty acid-binding protein 5 following orthology and synteny analysis.

Note there does not appear to be a paralogous gene in the X. laevis L or S genomes.
