Xenopus gene nomenclature was updated, changing from LOC101734901/a2ml1.6, alpha-2-macroglobulin-like protein 1 gene 6 to a2ml3a.2, alpha-2-macroglobulin like 3a gene 2, following phylogenetic review of the A2M and OVOS gene families by Xenbase curators and the HGNC.
