Xenopus Gene Name and symbol was changed from a2ml1.4, alpha-2-macroglobulin-like 1 gene 4 to a2ml3b.4, alpha-2-macroglobulin like 3b gene 4 following phylogenetic analysis of the vertebrate ovostatin and A2M protein/gene family by Xenbase and the HGNC.
