Nicotinamide

Description

Nicotinamide is the active form of vitamin B3 and a component of the coenzyme nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD). This agent inhibits poly(ADP-ribose) polymerases, enzymes involved in the rejoining of DNA strand breaks.
