03.07.20 During a review of immune system genes, we found a second 'plpp3-like' gene in X. laevis. Synteny analysis showed us that true plpp3.L is on Chr4.L, and this 'like' gene, plpp3l, is on Chr3.L. There is no X. laevis S homeolog, and no equivalent/syntenic gene in X. tropicalis.
