nomenclature changes

30MAY2023

Gene symbol changed from haus3.1 to haus3, removing the .1. Gene name remains the same, ending with "gene 1", and haus3.1 was added as a synonym. See XB-GENEPAGE-6449958 which was previously called haus3 and is now haus3l ("haus3-like"). This Xenopus gene now called haus3 is the true ortholog of human HAUS3.


Orthologous genes for human, mouse, rat, zebrafish and chicken (NCBI IDs: 79441, 231123, 680477, 566923, 775141 respectively) have been added to XB-GENEPAGE-25874530 and removed from XB-GENEPAGE-6449958 until future evidence may/may not emerge suggesting support for orthology between haus3l and haus3 genes in these other species.
