The Xenopus laevis nfil3l.2.L, nuclear factor interleukin 3 regulated like gene 2 [NCBI GeneID: 447503] is on Chr4L, [v10 gene model: XBXL10_1g19722] and has been placed here on its own gene page.

We can not find any paralogous nfil3l.2 gene models on chromosome 4/4S in the v10 assembly for X. tropicalis or X. laevis respectively.

Note that XB-GENEPAGE-29071395 displays the nfil3l.1 nuclear factor interleukin 3 regulated like gene 1 gene models for all 3 Xenopus genomes, on Chromsomes 3, 3L and 3/S.

The nfil3 genes (on Chr1/1L/1S) on XB-GENEPAGE-479623 are considered the true ortholog of human NFIL3, and it has not been determined if nfil3l.1 and/or nfil3l.2 are paralogs or duplicates of the nfil3 , so has are called 'like' genes until further analysis.
