nomenclature changes

Human name has changed for human B3GALT2 [Entrez Gene: 8707] From UDP-Gal:betaGlcNAc beta 1,3-galactosyltransferase, polypeptide 2 to Beta-1,3-galactosyltransferase 2.

Xenopus names changed following this change for the b3galt2 and b3galt2-like genes.

Based on a report by David Webb at RefSeq Team/NCBI, this gene has been renamed b3galt2-like, as it is not the true orthologue of human B3GALT2.

Xenopus tropicalis geneID:100489278 is 1 of 6 b3galt2llike genes just downstream of the ilf3 gene on chromosome 3. XB has creatde new gene pages for each of these genes, as indicated below.
