This is the community wiki page for the gene ggh.2 please feel free to add any information that is relevant to this gene that is not already captured elsewhere in Xenbase

nomenclature changes

9.13/2021

synteny pattern

where ggh seems to be the true ortholog of Human GGH, as the synteny pattern in largely conserved through evolutionary time.

COMPARED with THE REGION ON CHROMOSOME 3 which is not very well annotated.

IN X. TROPICALIS, THE 2ND GENE DOES NOT SEEM TO HAVE A DIRECT EASY TO IDENTIFY ORTHOLOG.
