nomenclature changes

the name of this gene was changed, adding "gene 2" as a suffix, to clarify that there are two ggh gene in Xenopus. (see below)

synteny pattern

Note that there are 2 ggh" genes in Xenopus: ggh) is on Chromosome 6, and ggh.2 on chromosome 3.

where ggh seems to be the true ortholog of Human GGH, as the synteny pattern in largely conserved through evolutionary time.
