'Xenopus gene name changed from XB5952314 an uncharacterized protein coding gene to cyp2j6l following a assessment of synteny for this region of chr5/5L/5S, which contains are cluster of 30 cytochrome p450 genes, and BLAST, which showed significant similarity of these protein to the cyp2j6 genes, this the 'like' suffix.

NB: no additional phylogenetic analysis or protein domain analysis was done, but will be necessary to thoroughly assess the entire 'cyp' gene family in 'Xenopus'.
